A local project in our own backyard, FRCH’s Hospitality and Retail-Mixed Use studios have teamed up on the renovation of Cincinnati’s iconic Music Hall. We were tasked with an overhaul to the environmental graphics and wayfinding strategies in addition to the FF&E packages for the Symphony Offices. As a treat for all our hard work, some lucky FRCH-ers were offered the chance at a behind-the-scenes tour of the renovation in-progress – before they close the doors until the grand re-opening in early October. Welcome to The Green Room, Baked by Subway®
Hot on the heels of developing the Subway® Fresh Forward global restaurant concept, FRCH was approached to conceptualize a traveling pop-up activation to hit the road for a series of Summer music festivals across the country. Building off the momentum of Subway’s new restaurant image and visual identity, we looked for opportunities to amplify and distill the brand’s expression for the music festival masses. We worked closely with the brand team on programming the pop-up experience and collaborated with IMG Live to maintain the design intent all the way through execution.

What’s up gang! What’s it been like 2 years since the last installment? For shame! After a sizeable group of FRCHers reached out for the Annual Breakfast playlist, I decided to BEE more productive and get this thing rolling again. Each year, on the last Tuesday of January, FRCH hosts our Annual Breakfast. Our version of the State of the Union address, we take the opportunity to recap our successes of the past year and share our focus for the coming year. The format consists of quick presentations from each studio and discipline, highlighting key projects and goals accomplished. Several years ago we implemented music into the program … but not just background music … the ability for each speaker to select their personalized ‘walk-up’ music. Since then, the song selections have become a key tradition, with speakers agonizing over the perfect pick. In light of our new internal brand launch, FRCH has challenged our team to a 24-Hour Design Pop-Up Challenge. What exactly is a 24-Hour Pop-Up Design Challenge you ask?? We’ve divided the entire company into 8 cross-disciplinary teams (blending designers with architects and architects with human resources…) to collaboratively create a pop-up concept within 24 hours.
