Poems on the Body

I will be forever inspired by Denise Julia Reytan’s collection of accessories and installations from her Poems on the Body exhibit. Denise’s work consists of an innovative collage of precious and non-precious objects.

Whether the items are sewn together or silicone casted, her collection is meant to remind us of our consumptive culture. Denise’s use of bold colors, familiar textures, shapes and objects “communicate together and merge with the wearer into a breathtaking painting”.

Based out of Berlin, Germany, Denise’s work has been featured in several reputable fashion magazines such as Vogue, Glamour and Clear Magazine.
